The iPad will no doubt dominate the growing tablet-computing market in the coming years. It's too pretty and too practical for the yuppies and college girls to ignore. My sister will get one, and my parents will get two. Hell, in several years, l'll probably own one myself.

But I question Apple's decision to release a wi-fi only model. They're marketing the iPad as the most pleasurable web-surfing experience on earth, yet they're offering a castrated model requiring proximity to a wireless network?

...Consumer's that don't spring for the 3G models will be sorry and likely displeased with the product and its purchase. Why buy a 5 dollar egg when you can have a scrambler for 6?
