Scent Events

Scent Event

How do singer Kerry Perry’s concerts smell like cotton candy? Learn how one entrepreneur put his nose for business to good use. Hear the story of a very unique business … Scent…Events.

What they do:
Help businesses bring scents for marketing and events.

Inspiration:
Neal Harris came up through the ranks in the fragrance business. That gave him a nose for people-pleasing smells. He used experience to form several unique new companies on his own. One is Scent Events. The other is Scentematagraphy.

About the business:
Scent Events provides “scenting experiences” for weddings, parties, and commercial affairs. Scentematagraphy provides fragrances for special events and entertainment. Harris’s companies provide the fragrances marketers and meeting planners want, such as, helping singer Katy Perry’s California Dream concerts smell like cotton candy. And adding the smell of strawberries and roses, to a children’s book called Mo Smells Red — about a colorblind dog.
